Sculptra®
Sculptra® is an FDA-approved injectable filler used by Dr. Levine to correct deep lines and wrinkles as well as to restore fullness to the face with long lasting results.
It is particularly effective in treating areas around the eyes and lips, cheeks and neck. It adds volume to the cheeks, to folds around the chin and to hollow areas around the eyes. Sculptra® is a synthetic material known as “poly-L-lactic acid” that is biocompatible with the body and biodegradable, and has been used in dermatologic surgery for more than 20 years.
Sculptra® is injected using a very fine needle below the surface of the skin in the area of tissue loss, stimulating your body’s own collagen production and providing a gradual increase in skin thickness. Visible and natural looking results last about two years.
