Unlike other thread lift technology, the Silhouette suture is perfectly round, allowing a much larger area for tissue growth in and around the completely absorbable cones and alternate knots, which allow for stronger and longer lasting anchoring. Its unique design prevents suture migration, a possible complication with the other older methods.

These procedures are performed using local anesthetic and take about 60-90 minutes to complete. The recovery time is quick with most patients returning to work in two to three days.
